Hi! Welcome to my website.
Here you will find a selection of photos representing my two major interests: sports photography and travel photography.
1. Sports Photography
Each weekend I cover sport in Mudgee. Of the 1,000 or so images I take each weekend, the best are edited and sent to the Mudgee Guardian for publication. Of the rest, some are posted on my Facebook page: Mudgee Sports Photos. Others may be found on the Photo Gallery page on this website, though I am now tending to favour the Facebook page as it seems to be more accessible for most people.
Photos from the NRL game between the Parramatta Eels and the Gold Coast Titans played in Mudgee on May 26th, can be found on the Facebook page: Mudgee Sports Photos.
If there are particular events which you think I may have covered, feel free to contact me (use the Inquiry Form tab above). Rather than spending hours editing and uploading photos for no-one in particular I will be uploading by request. Let me know what you’re interested in and I will make them available to you either in the Photo Gallery or possibly emailed to you as low resolution files. (Good for Facebook, but not for printing.)
2. Travel Photography
A selection of photos from my travels will also be posted in the Photo Gallery. Currently there are photos from Antarctica available (go to page 2 of the Phopto Gallery.)
· prints for sale (details on ‘Photo Orders’ page)
· small low res images of your sporting achievements. Great for Facebook.
· end of season CD ‘best of’ photos of your team or sport. Great for club websites!
· general photography (family portraits, commercial, events – but not weddings, sorry!)
· travel photography presentations. (Suit service clubs and community groups). Choose from Antarctica, Arctic, Bhutan, Canada (east), China (Yunnan, Tibet), Madagascar, Mauritius, Réunion, Scandinavia, USA (New England).
Contact me for details using the email link on the ‘Inquiry Form’ page.
A recent chance to view Mudgee from the air in a hot air balloon provided me with a great photo opportunity. See the results of this trip in the Photo Gallery.
This magnificent red river gum was well known to Mudgee locals. It stood near the corner of Perry and Short Streets, behind the Post Office. Unfortunately it had been dropping large limbs and was found to be unsafe. This photo was taken the day before its removal. It had stood longer than white settlement in the area. If only we could know what it had seen over the years! (More photos in the photo gallery.)
A huge weekend in Mudgee with the City v Country Rugby League game at the new Glen Willow Regional Sporting Complex. Photos from the game are now ...gone! (Need the space for more current sport. Contact me for info.)
February saw the opening of Mudgee's multi-million dollar Glen Willow Sporting Complex. Despite the controversy surrounding its cost, its completion will now allow Mudgee to host major sporting events, including the NRL's City v Country Rugby League match on Sunday 22 April. Tickets now on sale.
